Dynamo is an open source visual programming platform for designers. It is installed as part of Revit along with Revit specific programming nodes.
To access Dynamo, click Manage tab > Visual Programming Panel > Dynamo
DYNAMO FOR CIVIL 3D
Autodesk Dynamo for Civil 3D is a visual programming application that you can use to automate tasks in Civil 3D.
- Simplify complex workflows using scripts.
- Easily manipulate and update objects.
Autodesk Dynamo for Civil 3D is available as a separate installation for Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 through the Autodesk Desktop App and from your Autodesk Account.
After you install the application, the Dynamo-related commands are available on the Manage ribbon tab in Civil 3D.

FormIt for Windows features Dynamo built-in to enable computational design workflows - allowing you to connect and execute Dynamo Graphs.
- Bake Dynamo geometry into FormIt to use with your standard workflows.
